Why engineers join us

Why engineers join us
01

Own a service end to end

Each team of four owns its services from design to on-call, and decides how to build them.

02

Time to learn

Every engineer has a yearly learning budget, and Friday afternoons are kept for study or side projects.

03

Calm on-call

On-call rotates weekly across eight people, and night pages are paid as overtime.

How hiring works

  1. Step 1 · within 5 days

We read every application and reply by email.

  2. Step 2 · 30 min

A video call with the hiring manager about the work you have done so far.

  3. Step 3 · 2 hours

A paired coding session on a small task like the ones we do every week. No take-home test.

  4. Step 4 · 1 hour

Meet the team and ask your questions. We decide within a week.

04

Before you apply

Do I need experience with booking or payment systems?

No. We look for experience building and running web services. You learn the booking side with your team in the first months.

Can I work fully remote?

Not in this role. The team meets in the office three days a week, and you can work from home up to two days.
