Let's develop your next rain jacket fabric together

We propose a joint project to build a recycled, water-repellent shell fabric for your autumn–winter line, from yarn to finished roll.

Proposal at a glance

GoalA recycled polyester shell fabric for rain jackets
Our partYarn, weaving, finishing, and lab tests
Your partDesign targets, garment samples, and wear trials
DurationAbout 6 months to a production-ready fabric
RightsShared fabric spec · yours alone for the first season

02

A catalog fabric is hard to change

Your current shell fabric comes from a mill catalog, so weight, hand feel, and color can't be adjusted to your designs.

Switching to recycled yarn means new tests for water repellency and tear strength, and a catalog mill rarely runs them for one brand.

03

A fabric built around your design targets

Your designers set the targets: weight, stretch, water repellency, and hand feel. We spin recycled polyester yarn and weave sample lengths on our pilot loom.

In each round we test the samples in our lab and send you 5 m lengths for garment trials. After three rounds we fix the spec and move to the production loom.

What your team gets

What your team gets
01

A fabric made for your line

Weight, color, and hand feel set by your designers.

02

Lab data every round

Water repellency, tear strength, and wash results come with each sample.

03

One season to yourself

No other brand can use the fabric in the first season it sells.

Questions about the project

Who owns the fabric spec?

We share it. You have the fabric to yourself for one season. After that we may offer the base fabric to others, without your colors or finish.

Who pays for development?

We cover yarn and lab tests. You cover garment samples and wear trials. The proposal document lists each cost.
