About us
Nimbrel Labs makes wireless temperature sensors and an app for restaurants, bakeries, and small grocery stores. A sensor sticks inside a fridge in a minute and needs no wiring.
We are a team of 14 hardware, firmware, and app engineers. We design the boards and enclosures ourselves, build early batches in house, and move proven designs to a contract manufacturer.

What we build
Sensor hardware
A 38 mm sensor reads temperature and humidity every minute to ±0.3 °C and runs two years on one coin battery.
Gateway and app
One plug-in gateway covers up to 40 sensors. The app shows every unit and sends alerts by push, text, or email.
Daily temperature logs
The app records every reading and exports daily logs for inspections and staff checks.
Fast iteration
We test new board designs in our own lab and ship firmware updates over the air every month.

How a pilot works
Tell us how many fridges and freezers you have. We send a pilot kit with sensors and a gateway.
Stick the sensors inside, plug in the gateway, and scan the QR code to open the app.
Run the pilot for 30 days. We go over the alerts and readings with you each week.
If it works for you, keep the kit on a monthly plan. If not, send it back at no cost.

Common questions
Do the sensors need Wi-Fi?
No. Sensors talk to the gateway by radio, and the gateway connects over Wi-Fi or its built-in cellular modem.
What happens when the internet is down?
The gateway stores up to 30 days of readings and uploads them when the connection returns.
Can we buy the sensors outright?
Yes. Sensors can be bought or rented, and the app is a monthly plan per site.
